1. What is set
| Name | Purpose | Type | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Keeps you signed in between pages | Strictly necessary, first party | 30 days, or when you sign out |
| Plan cookie | Remembers which plan your account is on, so limits apply correctly | Strictly necessary, first party | 30 days |
| Security token | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery | Strictly necessary, first party | End of session |
| Payment processor cookie | Set on the payment step by the payment provider, for fraud prevention | Strictly necessary, third party | Per that provider's policy |
2. What is not set
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No cross-site tracking or social media pixels.
- No fingerprinting.
- No sale or sharing of browsing data with anyone.
Because everything set is strictly necessary to deliver a service you asked for, consent is not required under the ePrivacy rules, and no banner is shown. If that changes, a banner will appear before any new cookie is set.
3. Local storage
The create page keeps your most recent brief in your browser's local storage so a refresh does not lose your work. It never leaves your device and is cleared when you clear site data.
4. Controlling cookies
Every browser lets you view and delete cookies for a site. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will sign you out and prevent payment from completing, but nothing on Caketta will track you as a result of allowing them.
