1. Who you are contracting with
Caketta is a subscription web service operated at joannerobson.shop. It is run by an independent individual operator. All correspondence — support, billing questions, legal notices, rights complaints — goes to support@joannerobson.shop, which is the only contact channel for the service. There is no telephone line and no walk-in address; Caketta is a digital-only service.
In these terms, “we” and “Caketta” mean the operator of joannerobson.shop; “you” means the person using the service.
2. What the service does
You submit a brief — an occasion, a theme, a tier count, a palette, a finish and optional plaque wording. Caketta returns four cake concept renders produced by an artificial-intelligence image model, together with a decoration brief listing tier sizes, palette, surface treatment and toppers.
Renders are design concepts, not photographs and not promises. No cake in any render has been baked. A real cake made to the same brief will differ with the decorator's hand, the ingredients, the weather and the day. Caketta does not bake, sell, deliver or broker cakes, and is not a party to anything you agree with a bakery or decorator.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account or subscribe.
- You must not use the service where doing so would break the law that applies to you.
- You are responsible for anything done through your account.
4. What you may and may not generate
The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms and sets out what Caketta will not produce — including licensed characters, trade marks and club crests, imitation of a named living artist's personal style, the likeness of a real person, and adult content. Submitting a brief that tries to get around those limits is a breach of these terms and may end your access without refund of the current month.
Caketta screens briefs automatically. Screening is not perfect. You remain responsible for checking that what you generate, download and use does not infringe anyone's rights.
5. Your rights in the renders
Ownership and permitted use are set out in the Content Licence. In short: paid plans may use renders commercially; the Free plan is for personal use only and its downloads are watermarked.
6. Plans, prices and renewal
All prices are shown and charged in United States dollars (USD). The plans are:
| Plan | Price (USD) | Renders per month | Billing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0.00 | 3 | No payment details collected |
| Sprinkle | $5.49 | 40 | Monthly, automatically renewing |
| Buttercream | $12.49 | 150 | Monthly, automatically renewing |
| Patisserie | $25.99 | 400 | Monthly, automatically renewing |
- Every paid plan bills monthly, on the same calendar day you subscribe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price until you cancel. We tell you in advance, by email, before any price change takes effect.
- There is no paid trial and no introductory rate. The Free plan is permanently free and never asks for payment details.
- Unused renders do not carry over to the next month.
- Every successful charge produces an emailed receipt showing the amount, the currency, the plan and a direct link to cancel.
Cancellation and refunds are covered in full by the Refunds & Cancellation Policy. Delivery of what you buy is covered by the Delivery Policy.
7. Payment handling
Payments are taken by an independent, PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Caketta never sees, handles or stores your full card number. A failed or reversed payment suspends a paid plan until it is settled; the Free plan remains available.
8. Availability
Caketta aims to be available continuously but does not guarantee it. Maintenance, model provider outages and faults happen. If the service is unavailable for a sustained period within a month you have paid for, write to support@joannerobson.shop and we will make it right, normally by extending the month or refunding it.
9. Acceptable conduct
- Do not resell, sublicense or provide access to Caketta as though it were your own service.
- Do not scrape, automate against, or attempt to overload the service.
- Do not attempt to bypass plan limits, the watermark, or the AI-generation markings on downloads.
- Do not remove or alter the machine-readable AI marking in a downloaded file.
10. Ending the agreement
You may cancel at any time — see cancel a subscription. We may suspend or end access if these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy are breached, or if we are required to by law or by our payment provider. Where we end access for a breach that you did not cause deliberately, we refund the unused part of the current month.
11. Limits on liability
Caketta is supplied as a design aid. To the fullest extent the law allows, Caketta is not liable for decisions made on the basis of a render or a decoration brief — including any cake that is ordered, quoted, baked, priced or served. Caketta makes no food-safety, allergen, nutritional or storage determination of any kind; see the Acceptable Use Policy.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Where liability can be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid Caketta in the twelve months before the claim.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Material changes are notified by email to subscribers at least 14 days before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always shows the current version. Continuing to use Caketta after a change takes effect means you accept it. If you do not, cancel before it takes effect.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the operator's country of residence. Nothing here removes the consumer protections you have under the law of the country you live in. Before any formal step, please write to support@joannerobson.shop — almost everything is resolved that way.
14. Contact
Every enquiry, including legal notices, goes to support@joannerobson.shop. Replies within one business day, Monday to Friday.
